Furniture Plus Goodwill Scheme
Helping members of our local community is at the heart of what we do at Furniture Plus. Our Goodwill scheme can help those who are on a low income or are facing extraordinary circumstances. Our primary goal is to help set up their home or continue to live independently within our community. We may be able to supply essential furniture and household goods to people in need across Fife.
Help Available
Furniture
We stock a large variety of quality reuse furniture and household items kindly donated by the generous people of Fife. We also stock some new goods.
From sofas and chairs to beds, mattresses and bedroom storage we have all the core essential furniture items available to help maintain a comfortable standard of living. These items can be made available to applicants to our goodwill scheme free of charge.
White Goods
We stock reuse washing machines, fridge freezers and electric cookers which can be granted to applicants through our goodwill scheme.
We do unfortunately only have limited supply and as such will only be able to grant a single item per applicant. The waiting list for white goods can be as much as two months, if we can supply them at all, so it may be quicker to apply for a community care grant.
